Matt has been a regular fixture in the Waikato DJ scene for the last 6 years. Matt started as a party promoter before stepping behind the decks. He has 6 years of experience across bars/nightclubs, weddings, festival and school balls. Matt plays a minimum of 3 times a week with residencies at Te Awamutus Peach and Porker nightclub, Hamiltons Mad Hatters and early morning Saturday starts for f45 in Matamata. In the summer Matt is a regular at Smoky Pallet Whangamata and Waihi Beach Hotel.
STYLE
Matt is a Open format DJ whos favourite genres are hip hop, house and DnB. Career highlights include playing the Escape Music Festival, Summervines Halloween party, The Waikato University O week parties, the Shapeshifter Whangamata after party and bringing in the new year the last 3 years at the packed summer hot spot Waihi Beach Hotel. Matts DJ philosophy is simple. DJ for the people. Not for yourself.
